Product Registration

Upon completion of the simple and secure online purchase process, an email containing your product registration information will be sent to the email address used at the time of purchase. If someone else is making the purchase for you, be sure that this person sends you the information. To enter registration information into CG DataPort, launch the program, click on the Help menu and select the <Enter Registration> option.

 

 

Troubleshooting Product Registration

 

When entering product registration information, both the Name and Registration Key values must be entered  exactly as received after purchase. To minimize the potential for errors, it is recommended that you copy and paste both the license name and registration key into the fields presented in the Product Registration window ensuring that no extraneous leading and/or trailing characters are included.

If you are having problems entering the registration information that you received, please check the following:

If an error message advises that the registration information is invalid, ensure that it has been entered exactly as provided. Entering a registration name that is different then used when the online purchase was completed will result in this error.
The current support period (one year) has not expired. Updates to the current major version of the program are free for a period of one year from the date the registration key was issued. You can either purchase a new license (at a discount) extending this support period for another year or install an earlier version of the program that was released within the one year period of the original registration key. Please be sure to keep backups of the software since archive copies of prior versions will not be maintained/provided.
