If Outlook is not installed, you will be immediately prompted to enter information to connect to an Exchange server. If neither Outlook is installed and a connection cannot be made to an Exchange server, you will not be able to continue.

If the link is no longer valid, search the Microsoft site for "Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1". CDP does not use the CDO library for any of its functions but does require the MAPI client DLL to be properly registered.
The Exch user information cannot be ambiguous and must result in a direct connection to the Exchange server. If the Exchange User name entered is ambiguous, CDP will not be able to capture the selected user from the subsequent screens that will automatically appear.
