About User-defined Fields

User-defined fields (otherwise referred to as custom fields) can be categorized into one or more of the following groups

 

1.User-defined fields in folder
2.User-defined fields in this item
3.Defined in a custom form

 

The first 2 are groups that can be viewed by clicking on <All Fields> when viewing a contact item. It is useful to correctly understand the difference between these.
