MsgClass2

No purchase, registration, or activation is required to use this function

Notes:

1.All message classes found in the selected contact folder will be listed with the exception of
IPM.DistList (Distribution Lists). The message classes listed may not be published forms but strictly reflect contact items associated with a particular message class.

2.One or more of the listed Message Classes can be changed to any <published> form name in either the folder, Personal forms library or Exchange Org Forms library

3.Contacts associated with any selected Message Class can be deleted from the selected folder or copied/moved to another folder. These actions only affect the contact items associated with the message class. The actual message class(es) are not removed from any forms libraries

4.Moving contacts deletes them from the original folder

5.This function replaces the ContactGenie Message Class Modifier program.

6.Unlike other Toolkit functions, if the selected message class for the folder is <Ignore Message Class>, then the message class for any item in the folder can be changed (exception to this rule is any distribution list item in the folder with (message class of IPM.Distlist) which are never included in the group of items to be changed.

The reason for this difference is that sometimes the message class for items in the contact folder get changed to something that does not start with <IPM.Contact> - which is required for all contact item message class values. This can occur by accident or because another message class modification tool was used to change the message class that does not verify the validity of the Message Class value. Some of these tools allow entering any kind of value in the message class field which will result in the default for the contact item being <IPM.Note> - the value for email items.

7.Clicking on the <Published MCls Info> button will open a window showing detailed information regarding all custom forms published to any of the forms libraries (Folder, Personal, Exchange Org). If no forms are found to be published for a given library, then the library name will not appear on the list.
