Notes:
| 1. | Function applies only to the standard <IPM.Contact> message class. Custom fields defined in a custom form cannot be renamed using this function |
| 2. | Only fields that exist in the <User-defined fields in folder> list can be renamed |
| 3. | Select user-defined field to be renamed (given items 1 & 2 above) |
| 4. | # of contacts will be shown that contain a value for the selected field |
| 5. | Enter name that the UDF is to be renamed to |
| 6. | The <rename> process does not commence until the changes are <Applied> via the Preview window |
| 7. | Once the rename process begins, the first item that is completed is the renaming of the field name in the <User-defined field in folder> list. When the Folder Field name is changed, the original field name contained in each contact item becomes an <orphan> until it is renamed on an contact by contact basis. For very large contact folders, this can take some time and processing should be allowed to complete |
